Vindelle is a nice village located in the valley of the Charente river, North of Angoulême. This name is derived from the latin vinicella, which means a wine cellar. Tonne is a hamlet near this village. Angoulême is 10 km from Tonne, Cognac 20, Poitiers in the North and Bordeaux in the South 100 km. Angoulême is 2 hours 15 minutes from Paris by the T.G.V. (High Speed Train).
